Second VP Duties

DUTIES OF SECOND VICE PRESIDENT

In addition to the duties of the Second Vice President as described in our Constitution and By Laws, the Second VP shall be responsible for maintaining our membership, as well as increasing our numbers.

1. The best source of recruiting members is by continually asking help from our current members, along with contact information.
2.  Upon receiving the name of a potential member, the VP should contact the person to introduce themselves and see if they have questions.
3. Upon receipt of the application, it should be posted on the Bulletin Board and presented at the next board meeting, for approval.
4.  Once approved, the new member should be invited to all meetings
5. At the time of his first meeting, he should be introduced, and asked to speak to the members about his abilities, interests, and perhaps his family, or any other topics he deem worthy of sharing.
6.   Dues must be paid before he becomes a true member.

The Second VP, may use whatever means he determines to increase membership, with the approval of the board.
