Installation of Officers - Outline

Nomination Committee presents the slate of officers.

May we have a motion to elect the slate as presented? May I have a 2^nd to the motion?

All in favor. Opposed?    Motion carried,  Congratulations new officers and board members!

I consider it my honor to preside at this installation, so would the newly elected officers and new board members please line up from my left to right as follows?

 (Only the New Directors to the Board):

(Addressing the New Directors as a group by individual names)- "You have been duly elected as directors of this club and as such as far as possible, it shall be your duty to attend all meetings of the Board; to transact all businesses which shall regularly come before it and to perform such other duties as pertain to the official work of the Board"

(To the Treasurer & Asst. Treas.) — you are charged with the safeguarding of the monies of this club and with you rests the financial security of the organization. Needless to say, the fact that you have been so chosen testifies to the reliance and trust the members have in you.

(To the Secretary) — it shall be your duty to faithfully record and keep an accurate record of the proceedings of the club at its Bd. of Directors meetings and at its Regular monthly Business Meetings. You shall also sign all important papers pertaining to the club's business and maintain a scrapbook of the Club's publicity.

(To the 2 VPs) , you have co-responsibility with the president to see that the programs and work of the club are carried out in a proper fashion. You should endeavor to attend all meetings and to familiarize yourself with the duties of the president: as in his absence, you will be called on to preside.

(To the New President) — •you have been elected to the highest office that is within the power of-the members of this club to bestow. It shall be your duty to preside at all meetings and upon you for the coming year and in you rests the responsibility for the continued success of the Haddonfield 65 Club.

(To ail Officers and New Board Members) — The duties of your positions as Board Members and Officers have been explained to you, so now if each and every one of you agree to faithfully discharge these duties to the best of your abilities, please say "l do".

The answer being in the affirmative, I declare these Officers and Directors duly installed in their respectful positions... .CONGRATULATIONS
