Cards, speaker meetings, and bowling are informal “Just show up” activities. If the
activity is held at the Clubhouse, please feel free to walk in the door without
knocking. Beginners, novices, and
prospective members are welcome at all activities.
Bridge is on Mondays at 1:00pm at the clubhouse. Please arrive at 12:45. Play is year round. Competition for a trophy is held from September to April.
Pinochle is on Wednesdays at 12:30pm at the clubhouse. An optional soup and sandwich lunch is served for $5.
Meetings, usually with guest speakers, are Thursdays at 1:30pm at the clubhouse. Business meetings without speakers are held on second Thursdays. A schedule of speakers may be found at http://65clubweeklyprograms.blogspot.com.
Bowling is Fridays at 9:30am at Laurel Lanes on Route 73 in Maple Shade, just off Kings Highway. The cost is $6.55 for three games and includes shoes, ball, coffee, tea, and pastries
Golf
is usually Wednesday at 9:00am at one of nine local courses. The
schedule is posted on haddon65clubgolf.blogspot.com. Anyone who wishes to play for the first time must arrange
scheduling by contacting Mike Underwood [munder@comcast.net] no later than the
Sunday before playing. We play low key golf with two major rules: Be at the course one half-hour before tee-time
and play at a pace that usually completes a round in four hours and fifteen
minutes.
