Message from the President:
Our members reside in Haddonfield and throughout surrounding South Jersey communities resulting in diverse
experiences, careers, and talents. What brings us together is the variety of
activities and interests members share.
One of the Club’s
missions is to encourage Members to participate in the diverse volunteer
opportunities both inside and outside of the club. Members can check this
website or view details in our newsletter.
Service is another core mission of the Club.
We strongly encourage and support community activities. You’ll find many
volunteer opportunities on this website. If one strikes a chord with you, you
are welcome to join-in with our other members.
Some Things to know:
The
Haddonfield 65 Club, incorporated on March 11, 1955, is open to male
residents who are retired from their regular vocation, regardless
of age. Guests from nearby towns are also welcome. Our Clubhouse is at 110
Rhoads Ave. in Haddonfield. The purpose of the Club is: to broaden acquaintances as well as take part
in civic, social and other activities that promote fellowship and “have a sense
of well-being”. Current weekday activities include
- Monday:
- Introduction to bridge with bridge expert instructor (10AM).
- Competitive Duplicate bridge (1 PM).
- Duplicate bridge winner is announced at the Spring Luncheon.
- Tuesday:
- Free
Coffee and Conversation – Social discussions, every Tuesday from 10 AM to noon, The discussions are informal and non-structured among retired men about current events, sports, hobbies, and whatever else comes to mind.
Also, it will get you out of the house for a few hours. Coffee and
Conversation meets at our Clubhouse,
110 Rhodes Avenue every Tuesday and is open to any retired male, so come join us. It is a free and all-male fellowship. For

- Next up:
- Occasional trips or other off-site activities are open to spouses and member guests of if space is available. Some trips are fee-based. There are occasions that trip participants may stop for lunch on the return to the Clubhouse. These are fee-based mealtimes.
- Wednesday:
- Member Golf (from early May through mid Nov). Golf matches, tee times, and player pairings are scheduled at local golf courses.
- Golf tournament winners are announced at the Spring Luncheon.
- Pinochle competition. (With an optional lunch).
- Pinochle winner is announced at the Spring Luncheon.
- Thursday:
- Weekly membership meetings at our Clubhouse with a wide variety of speakers.
- Once a month a member’s business meeting is conducted at the Clubhouse with complimentary refreshments provided.
- Friday:
- Bowling competition.
- Bowling score winner is announced at the Spring Luncheon.
- Chess matches meet monthly.
In addition,
the Club convenes: the Fall Stag Luncheon, the Ladies Spring Luncheon, November
Wine & Cheese Party, and the Christmas Holiday Luncheon.
We
participate in various Haddonfield Borough sponsored events: 4th of July parade, Fall Flea Market, Haddonfield Fall Festival,
The Skirmish. The Club supports, volunteers, and participates in numerous projects
such as: KROC Center/Salvation Army, Urban Promise, Haddonfield Lions Club 5K, The
Haddonfield American Legion Post 38.
Participation
is at a member’s discretion.
Weekend
Activities
Occasionally
a special event is arranged for a Saturday such as new membership meet/greet
events, BBQ, etc.
